 Overview

The system is designed to provide you with daily and searchable opportunity data from thousands of sources and vendor profiles for US federal contractors. It will also afford you the opportunity to respond to teaming requests from other vendors, as well as initiate teaming searches of your own.

Use built-in tools to update your company profile, monitor your RFT score and response history and to share your thoughts within threaded discussion groups. The site also provides the use of contract vehicles for vetted opportunities.

Each company withthin our database has been given a user name and password, both of which are their CAGE Code issued by CCR. To subscribe to this service, simply log in using your CAGE Code. You will be asked to update your Profile (see below), then click the "Subscribe" link in the top menu.

 Personal Profile Set-up

Your "Personal Profile" is available to other users who click on your name after performing a "People" or "Vendor" search. They will find your contact information and your Feedback rating if you have one.

To customize your Personal Profile, first log in to the site using your CAGE Code as username and password (unless you have changed your user/pass)then follow this path:

"Tools" (from the main menu) then click on "Personal Profile"

On this form you can make changes to you or your company's status. In addition, you can upload a photograph of yourself or your company. Instructions for these operations appear on the form.

Once you "update" your information, you will see the resulting public display. You may add information about yourself or your company by clicking "comment". Make sure your comments are available to everyone so all can see your additional information. These instructions can be found on the form. You can "edit" your comments at any time.

My Page "Instant FBO" Opportunity Feed

Your "My Page" will display the past three days of opportunities linked to your NAIC Code. If your company qualifies under more than one NAIC Code, make sure to include all of them when updating your personal profile (see above).

 RFT Responses

To respond to an RFT, simply click on the link for that that appears in the email invitation you were sent. Alternatively, check the list of published RFTs on the BidTeams Published RFTs page. If your profile type was invited to respond, you will be able to do so by clicking on the title of an RFT.

You can always see the entire list of RFTs which you were invite to respond by loggin in, clicking "Tools" in the top menu, select "My RFT Center" and then "Request for Information".

When responding to an RFT, your answers should be as complete as possible. Most questions will be "Yes/No" or "multiple choice" in nature. The text answers can be long or short depending upon the space allowed. Watch your spelling, there is no spell checker here and spelling is important for your image.

When you have answered all the questions, there is a space for your comments. This is an opportunity to say something about your firm that may not have been asked, or perhaps a list of references ...whatever you like, but this text will be viewed by the RFT issuer.

You may edit your response prior to submitting, but once submitted it is gone and you cannot re-submit. After submitting, be sure to go to "Tools" and click on "My Responses" to see your submission and how your score compares to the current top three scores. As a member, you can also see your scores per category.

Keep track of your progress against other bidders by checking "My Responses" often. You will learn from this exercise.

 RFT Creation

You may also set up your own RFT's for others to respond. Use the "Contact Us" form to ask us to prepare an RFT. Please include as much detail about the team you need and the qualifications desired. This tool is also great for finding suppliers.

Navigation - Finding Your Way Around

Moving around within the system is as simple as pointing and clicking.  Here are some tips:

  • The Site Map

Can't find a particular page?  In the upper right of every page, is a link to the site map, an organized list of all of the pages on the system.
