| To respond
to an RFT, simply click on the link for that that appears in the email invitation you were sent.
Alternatively, check the list of published RFTs on the BidTeams Published RFTs page.
If your profile type was invited to respond, you will be able
to do so by clicking on the title of an RFT.
You can always see the entire list of RFTs which you were invite
to respond by loggin in, clicking "Tools" in the top menu,
select "My RFT Center" and then "Request for Information".
When responding to an RFT, your answers should be as complete as possible. Most
questions will be "Yes/No" or "multiple
choice" in nature. The text answers can be long
or short depending upon the space allowed.
Watch your spelling, there is no spell checker here
and spelling is important for your image.
When you have answered all the questions, there is
a space for your comments. This is an opportunity
to say something about your firm that may not have
been asked, or perhaps a list of references ...whatever
you like, but this text will be viewed by the RFT
issuer.
You may edit your response prior to submitting, but
once submitted it is gone and you cannot re-submit.
After submitting, be sure to go to "Tools"
and click on "My Responses"
to see your submission and how your score compares
to the current top three scores. As a member, you can also see your scores per category.
Keep track of your progress against other bidders
by checking "My Responses" often. You will
learn from this exercise.
